Learn Music Production Basics in Berlin!

Join us for a free Workshop geared to new producers interested in learning how to create electronic music with Ableton Live. Berlin producer, DJ and 343 Labs instructor Keanu Raves gives an overview of producing music with Ableton Live including building a beat from scratch. Learn why Ableton Live is such a popular software among electronic music producers. This workshop is designed for beginners, or people who have produced with other software and are interested in getting started with Ableton. There are no prerequisites to joining, we’ll meet you at the start of you music production journey.

During the event, 343 Labs will be opening its doors for an Open House, where attendees can tour the facilities, learn about 343 Labs courses, and meet some of the instructors. This is a great way to get a feel for the community and programs at 343 Labs, meet fellow producers, and ask any questions you may have about our school.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Keanu Raves

Keanu Raves is an Ōtautahi (New Zealand) producer and DJ who began his journey through the underground in 2018 after an inspiring night out at the Berlin techno institution Tresor. This inspiration still courses through his music, which veers between classic Detroit style grooves and the reverb drenched chord-stab heavy sound of Berlin.

2023 saw Keanu release music on Keepsakes’ imprint Haven, and for the Swedish techno imprint Substantiv, as well as make his international DJ debut for Copenhagen based party Gag.

In May 2024 Keanu made the move to Berlin where he is now based to deeper immerse himself in the international techno scene. Through 2024 - 2025, Keanu released a plethora of music across various international labels including Mood Supplier (UK), Synapsa (Poland), Rave Your Soul (Croatia/Netherlands), Diffuse Reality (Germany/Spain) and Trau-ma (Portugal).
